Poem I wrote for my first wife years ago. Now, it minds me o' the song "Save Me" by Queen.
If a touch could heal
A broken heart,
For me
That touch would be yours.

If a look could assure me
that the world is mine,
I would possess it already
from an instant in your eyes.

If soft words were a shelter
from harm,
I would dwell safely forever
in your whisper.
