An irl love poem, to a love that did not last.
You, whose smile lights the darkest day,
whose beauty radiates from deep within
and sets free the most awkward earth-bound souls

To you, who found me in so sad a state
and by the power of your joy and grace
ensnared and billowed full the
triple masted strength of my poor soul

Your angel like demeanor
which all children long to touch and stay abreast
gives life and hope to those who need it most

Sweet echos of your breath
from having known the tender power of your touch
such longing-ness can ne're be put to rest..
your comeliness, unfathomable, when passions met

So clearly I recall the long lost times
Our early days of brave undaunted love
The joyful song upon your voice at every greeting
Shared hunger which cause nor distance could impair.

The quiet gentle moments in the evenings,
While reading, simply talking, or in prayer
When slowly did you fade into your dreaming
While softly did I stroke your neck and hair.

Yet now all that remains are countless days
Which never came to pass before the loss;
When we both came undone by so much grieving
Hope and joy joined in that season's dross.
