Just climb the ladder - a mental health poem - God is supreme.
A stale and anxious state;
Feelings of guilt
Rekindle the awkward perception;
Kind gifts may explore
A mellow dignity
Toward an edgeless horizon -
And neither closure nor restraint
Appear to be ready
In the skillful offing…

For whatever guidance
And diligence you seek,
Know that the mercy of God
Is the ultimate glory;
The truth of one’s marker
Pertains to the sloping detail -
The center of the putter
Shall press upon the dimpled sphere,
Combining skill, timing, and precision -
Beginning with a solid foundation,
And building toward a heavenly desire…

A true drive, passing on grief and pain,
Passionately ensconced -
The blessed resolution
Making confidence
A thing of the distant and volatile past,
In His Mighty and Enlightened Name -
Reminding one that the journey
Is in the visionary bliss,
The energy of floating
And the shapely clouds…
