For Mark - When two become one.
He moved into my heart
a summer storm,
filled with life and passion.
The energy between us
pulling us together
as surely as two magnets.

He lured me with his humor
and eyes blue as the sky.
And I saw the beauty
in the center of his storm,
that golden, glowing soul.

I heard his spirit singing,
my own responded in kind,
a harmonizing of our two storms
and the conjoining of our two souls.

And it struck me that
I wanted nothing more than
to dance in the rain of our love.
