It’s five am all over again
Working life away wishing upon a star
Sipping upon an expresso
Looking for something sweet
It doesn’t really matter
Living out the day moving along onto the next
These days keep repeating
I’d rather be asleep back in my bed
It’s just another workday
Chasing money all the time
For you make ends meet

I slowly walk to work
Trying to arrive on time
With my stomach on empty
