He always has a smile on.
I love that UPS man,
the one who drives the truck.
When I grow up I’ll be like him,
that’s if I have some luck.

He always has a smile on
whenever he drives by.
And he’ll be wearing his brown shorts
when it is hot and dry.

But even when it’s cold out
he has that door ajar.
You wonder how he doesn’t freeze
when traveling so far.

And if there is a dog out,
he’ll stop and throw a ball.
If there’s a better job than this
I don’t know one at all.

So when he drives past my house,
I try to catch his eye.
Then I will give a wave to him
as he goes flying by.

I know that he will wave back.
He is a friendly guy.
I miss him when he doesn’t show.
I almost want to cry.

So when I am all grown up
that’s what I want to do.
If you were honest with yourself
you’d want to do it too.
