A short poem about my mom. {78 words}
As I stand here beside her my thoughts race through my mind like a raging river. I gently hold her hand and give her a kiss. She laughs and we dance across the room. We watch an old movie and bake sugar cookies.

Now I stand here beside her and hold her hand, I give her a kiss, but there is no laughter or dancing. She is resting now. My best friend, my mother is gone.
