Angels come to hear him sing. 12 lines. Rhymes.
In the warmth of his arms, he'd sing to me a song,
Soft and sweet and slow of gods and things among.
A voice so pure he had, it'd wash away your sin,
And heart's long broken learned to love again.
Angels flew from heaven just to hear him sing,
And Nature would awaken, thinking it were spring.
He opened all their hearts, like petals on a flower
A voice no man has ever had with such a power,
His words fell like warm rain on the ear
But to be singing here, God thought the voice too dear,
And out of envy, He took away my love
Forcing him to sing in the heaven above
