XIII. Death


Image of Death




The reaper's scythe all things reclaims
the stillborn babe, the old, the lame
Yet do not mourn when its arc ceases
Death transforms all it releases

If his work were to amend
All change and ends subside
A fate far worse than any blight
No growth, or rest from strife
