XVII.The Star


The Star image




Sweet daughter of the midnight sky
Whose comfort, love and mercies ply
Her beauty hewn in darkened frame
Such hopes and dreams you'll soon obtain

The skies if turned to murky lake
cast mere mirages of her state
The things now on your heart so set
Will only bring you much regret
