I don't eat peas.
I don’t eat peas or lima beans.
I just don’t like the taste.
Don’t put them on my dinner plate.
It just would be a waste.
And don’t think you can fool me with
some things you mashed in haste.
I still can tell what you have ground
into that ugly paste.

Some folks may like to eat those peas
and maybe spinach, too.
I don’t believe what others say,
that stuff’s not good for you.
That green stuff in my salad bowl
is meant for cows to chew.
So feed the cows so they get fat
and end up in my stew.

Just give me lots of bread to eat,
with butter I can spread.
If I can’t have the carbs I crave
I might as well be dead.
Don’t want some fruit or vegetables.
I’ll have a steak instead.
Just meat and bread, potatoes too,
and I will be well fed.
