A Thought On Psalm Thirty Seven
In the mere moments
between tripping
Over my two or three
Left feet
and catching myself
I see every moment
And all of my transgressions
Against heaven
and nature
And how the moment of chance
Will either have me stand
Or fall,
All in God’s hands,
And not always
Because of my
Bumbling wanders.
He guides my steps.
