Sing this Ithis to the tune of the "Gilligan's Island Theme Song.
It’s time to set the record straight,
about March Seventeenth.
Saint Patrick’s not the only one,
to celebrate this day.
Celebrate this day.

Ol' Paddy got a lot of hype,
for chasing all the snakes.
But, that was just a metaphor,
There really were no snakes.
Really were no snakes.

Now all that's left is standing rocks,
the Druids left the scene.
And, though he was a British Dude,
T'was Ireland he did love.
Ireland he did love.

So on this day let's not forget,
another saintly one.
Saint Gertrude's Day it also is,
the patron Saint of Cats.
Patron Saint of Cats.

So raise a potent amber drink,
I swear it's apple juice.
To Gertrude's Love and Saint Patrick,
and cuddle with your cats.
Cuddle with your cats!
