A poem that I wrote about I dream I used to have.
A lost dream of mine
Was to be a
Singer

I would entrance
The people,
My friends
With my music
And voice.

Singing was my
First love.
My first passion.

I'd sing for
Hours on end

To the voices in my
Head

They followed
me around
evry'where

Listening

To the made up
lyrics
in my head

To cope
with the things
everyone said

A lost dream of mine
Was to be a
Singer

I would entrance
The people,
My friends
With my music
And voice.

But then one day
I told the whole world of
my dream

My passion

They laughed
and laughed and laughed
in my face.

Eventually
the voices laughed
to

It was
smashed to pieces
by the ones i loved and
called friends

That is the lost
dream of
mine.

I carry it in
my pocket still
in hopes that it will end up
fixed somehow.

But it wont,
I know that
Now.
