Can the Easter Bunny save the egg hunt?
One Easter morning, the Easter Bunny twitched his nose. "I smell dew," he said to himself. He hopped outside his burrow, carrying his basket full of chocolate eggs. A raindrop fell right on his head! Then more raindrops, and more until the Bunny found himself soaking wet.

"Oh no! The children can't hunt for eggs in the rain! They could get sick! But if there's no egg hunt, they will be disappointed and sad. What am I going to do?"

As he scratched his head, Penny the Piglet walked by. "Happy Easter! He is Risen!" said Penny.

"He is Risen indeed," said the Easter Bunny. "But I have a problem. It's raining and I have an egg hunt to prepare. What am I going to do?"

"I know somewhere we could have it! Follow me!" The Bunny followed the piglet through the woods, passing by the garden with the tulips and the picket fence and into a barn. "Would this work?"

"I don't know. It's kind of dirty..." said the Bunny. He looked around and saw a hole in the ground with golden light coming out. "What is down that hole?" he asked.

"Let's find out!" said Penny.

They hopped down the hole and found themselves in a magical forest. All the trees were purple and pink, with giant flowers and toadstools. The roses were singing nursery rhymes.

"This will be the perfect place for an egg hunt! But how will the children find it?" said the Bunny.

"We could build a staircase leading down the hole. And we could post signs pointing to it," said Penny.

"That's a great idea!" Penny and the bunny quickly grabbed wood and made stairs and signs. They hid behind some bushes and watched as the children gradually arrived and found their eggs. One by one, the children departed with their baskets full and their faces grinning. The Bunny couldn't help but smile as he watched all the happy children.

"Looks like the Hunt was a success this year," said Penny.

"It was! We should have the hunt here next year, too," said the Bunny.

"I can't wait!" said Penny.
