This story is for "The One-Line Lyric Challenge." - March 2023
The weight of the world fell heavily upon my shoulders. It felt like I was carrying the hurtful wounds of the past. For this problem, I came upon a solution. I said, "Believe this with all my heart", "Let the river take them all away." These hurts were put into a large empty bag and tossed into the river. Watching the river flow past me, I let the river take them all away. There would be no more worries to cramp my style. What a relief! I am finally free of the emotions that have haunted me so long ago.
