All that was left was the maze.
the box was heavy,
with hedge-lined walls
and dead ends.

man was placed inside
with racing hearts
and no friends

to win above all
with crushing thoughts
and false grins

so man toppled man
til none left and
no one wins

the box was heavy,
an empty maze
that still spins.
