A poem inspired by a drawing of the same subject. (Not the one in the thumbnail)
With a word, I exhale
my breath golden tendrils that press against the veil
my light within the blanket
That woolen trap that ensnares and chokes until you cannot make it.
These threads and lines
ties up and binds deep cuts within myself
allowing this physician, the strength to heal thyself
and gives me the light to find
the strength inside that I need to shine
