The One-Line Lyric Challenge
I take a seat, at the edge of the bed, watching my Wife as she sleeps. I wonder what she may be dreaming.
Sarah looks so peaceful, motionless, and beautiful. I want to kiss her head, but I don't want to disturb her.
I decided to go down to the kitchen and surprise her with breakfast. I began scrambling the eggs when I felt her arms reach around my waist.
"Good Morning, baby", she said. "I could smell the bacon sizzling all the way upstairs."
I turned around, gave her a tender kiss, and replied,
"Smells great, doesn't it?"
"Sure does."
She walked over to the window. Her sleepy eyes peek through the blinds at something wrong.
"Oh no", she said.
"What is it, babe?"
She sighed.
"We have a flat tire."
