This is a poem about what us humans have done to our climate for personal gain
What Have We Done...?
The east and the west,
Flora and Fauna,
Everything has succumbed,
Fading slowly,
Day by day.

We no longer have yields,
Life is unbearable,
But only down here,
We are doomed!,

My truck is thirsty,
My tummy empty,
This is a first,
Never before seen,

Waterways have become pathways,
Grasslands are now deserts,
What have we done,
To our land?

The sun is scorching,
The heavens have shut,
Loses incurred,
Regardless some still thrive,
On our backs they survive,
I wonder why...?.
