having friends are great, but maybe great friends aren't that great at all.
I have a best friend named Bailey.
She's interesting, independent, intelligent.
Always on a rush, speeding past us at the curb, throwing us behind, never looking back.
Bailey fits in easily,
Making friends comes naturally.
Everyone seems to like her, me too, I think.
The sun likes her, the moon loves her, the stars shine on her.
I, stay on the ground.
Under the shades of trees.
It's cold and alone but there's no way out.
I would like to feel the sun, see the moon, touch the stars,
It's just far.
Sometimes I wish I was Bailey,
Tall, beautiful, smart.
Or I can just be one of those.
