A short poem written in 1991.
I know that I don't know.
It didn't look good
on the resume; I failed
the drug test
and don't fly a flag.
Yesterday I stole a black
crayon, and colored
circles on the gas bill.
I didn't get the job,
never paid the bill, but
I have the crayon
and I know
that I don't know.
Tomorrow
I'll take a white one.
