I've always wanted to put together a poetry anthology featuring poets from different countries. This dream of mine is finally a reality. I have published my first poetry anthology and it is called Voices of the World - a poetry anthology.

The anthology features 46 poets from around the world, me being one of the poets. Some of the countries from which the poets come from include USA, Canada, India, Ireland, and France.

This time around I decided not to have a specific theme or genre for the book so poets submitted their work on any topic they chose. There is a lot of variety in this book. Different styles and voices. Different stories and experiences. Something for everyone to enjoy.

Having published all of my own books with Lulu I decided to publish this anthology with Lulu as well. I am very excited about this book and hope it is the first of many anthologies that I get to publish in the future.

Here is the link in case you want to check it out, which I hope you do.

I am putting together a poetry anthology that I plan on publishing through Lulu (lulu.com) and am looking for poets who want to showcase their work. It is free to be a part of the anthology. *BigSmile*

The anthology will not be possible unless I can get poets to participate.

If you guys are interested or know someone who may be interested please let me know.

If you want to participate please submit two poems. Poems submitted for the anthology can be on any topic, so long as they don't have explicit or graphic content... Poems can be newly written or previously written. You can even submit poems that you have shared on WDC or anywhere else.

Along with your poetry please include a short author bio and if you want an author picture.

Send me everything either here on WDC (via email) or via Facebook (Lena Kovadlo is my name there). If you prefer to send me everything via personal email that is fine too. Please let me know if that is the case.

Looking forward to publishing this book and reading all the wonderful poems written by those poets participating in the anthology.

Most writers out there dream of publishing a book or a number of books. Many don't have the expertise or the knowledge to make it happen. Some just don't have the time to go through with it themselves. That is where I come in. I now offer publishing services. I format manuscripts, do book covers, and publish books for people. It is an incredible feeling knowing that I am able to make people's dreams come true. Here is a list of books that I have already published for others:

Novels | Novellas
  • Jailbait by Barbara Kasey Smith

    Short Story Books
  • Tales and Whispers by Regis Auffray
  • Stepping Stones by David Anthony Daniels

    Poetry Books
  • Reflections by Diane deHaan
  • Her by Michael James Kaiser
  • To Be Me by Michale James Kaiser
  • Through the Mist by Regis Auffray
  • Glimpses by Regis Auffray

I've always wanted to publish books and do it all on my own. Some may think publishing books yourself is the easy way out but I beg to differ. There is a lot of hard work involved in getting a book published because there is no one to help you; you have to figure everything out on your own. And when all is said and done and you finally publish a book there is a greater sense of accomplishment, achievement and success.

I have published nine books of my own. Now my goal is to help other writers and authors get their books published and available to the world. That is exactly what I am doing right now. I help people publish books through Lulu - a print-on-demand book publishing platform - and get it distributed to Amazon, online Barnes and Noble and other online retailers. I format the manuscript, create a book cover, actually publish the book on Lulu and get the distribution service for the book to make it available for sale outside of Lulu. I even offer some book promotion.

I have created a website for my publishing services - http://publishingforless.webs.com
You can go there for more information and to submit a request about publishing a book.

I am really looking forward to help more people get published. It is a great reward for me to make others dreams come true!

After a long time of being single and of relationships not going anywhere or ending I have finally found the love of my life and it looks like he is here to stay. *Smile*

With this part of my life working out I hope this means that the rest of my life will come together as well. I hope that very soon I will have a well-paying job and that I will be living on my own instead of being stuck at my parent's house. Whether that will be solely my place, or a place I will share with my love, doesn't matter at this point. All I care about is just moving out on my own. I am 31 and have to have my own life! It's been long overdue.

I have also rummaged through my closet and got rid of clothes that doesn't fit or is in bad shape. This gives me room to update my wardrobe with new stuff. I will also be looking at non-clothes stuff and getting rid of anything I don't need anymore.

Getting rid of the old is good. Life becomes less cluttered and that can bring about positive change, which is what I need. As they say out with the old, in with the new.

    Here's to new beginnings!!!

Years ago I had written my debut novel called The Secret Life of Ashley Miles. I edited it many times and then chose to publish it. Before doing so I thought it would be a good idea to have some people read it and offer feedback.

I didn't want to have to send people the manuscript file so I published the novel here as a book item and made it private with a passkey. This way the people I wanted to read the novel could access it, read it and leave feedback and the rest of the world would have to wait till it was published and released to the world.

Some people that had read my novel told me they loved the story and enjoyed reading it from start to finish. They didn't offer any suggestions for improvement, actually telling me they wouldn't change a thing. These were people I knew. Then I asked someone I didn't know to read my novel and offer feedback. The feedback was negative. It got me down so much and it was because of that one person's feedback that I thought my novel sucked and didn't deserve to be published. It is because of that feedback that I never published the novel, and even chose to delete the manuscript from existence.

Some years passed and now that negative feedback no longer has control over me. I no longer believe that my novel sucks. It deserves to be published and shared with the world. So, I went ahead and published it with lulu.

After reading the novel again however I realize that there are some minor changes that need to be made. So now I am editing the novel again. I am doing a final edit and republishing the novel. And that will be the end of it. No more edits will be made after that. If some people think the novel is not good, and one person I just asked to read my novel didn't like it, then so be it. It is just the opinion of those people. Not everyone will like everything I write. There will always be haters. And I shouldn't let them get to me.

My novel is available here: http://www.lulu.com/shop/lena-kovadlo/the-secret-life-of-ashley-miles/paperback/...

    Enjoy the read!

At the end of July I stumbled upon a site called Bubblews, where we can write about anything we want and in any style and we can earn money from it when people view what we write, when they hit like, write a comment, or share what we write on social media. Being a writer and wanting to earn money for it I joined the site.

I have to say that I love it there and I've been successful earnings-wise. I've already redeemed my earnings three times and gotten paid each time. The total was around $77 or so. And I'm well on my way to earning my first $50 since the new minimum needed to redeem has been raised from $25 to $50. So far, counting what I've yet to get paid (as minimum not reached yet) I've earned around $114, which is amazing!

I am not planning to leave that site anytime soon and I will continue to write there. I hope I will be able to share some of my poetry, lyrics, and prose on there aside from just blogging type posts and/or informative articles. The problem is that most of the stuff is published in my books, which can be previewed on Google book search. That would mean that if I publish any of it on Bubblews I will be violating the first rules, which is that you can't copy content from other websites to Bubblews, even if it's your own. That sucks big time because I wanted to share my poetry on there as well. I guess that means that I will have to write new poetry.... but then when I publish that in a new book and enable Google book search I may run into the same problem.

Please check out my writing on Bubblews - http://www.bubblews.com/account/59367-lovebuglena
And while you are at it consider joining the site if you want to try and earn some money by writing online. It really pays off! Here's the link: http://www.bubblews.com/?referral=51f439561a63e6.68237649
