Say “No” To Fear
Take Up Your Cross

Prompt:
"The LORD is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the LORD is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid?"
(Psalm 27:1, KJV)

When the Lord has been given His rightful place in our hearts,
what becomes the rightful place for fear?

Answer:
Fear has a way of ruling over us. The only thing the Bible tells you to fear over and over again is to fear God. To everything else, it tells us to fear not, do not be afraid. I have heard it said behind pulpits that we should do it afraid if God tells us to do it. It is quite common because the definition of courage is to do stuff even though you are afraid. God isn’t just telling us to be courageous. He is telling us to do it in faith without fear. This URL is a link to more Scriptures that tell us to be courageous and not be afraid.
