 Take UP Your Cross Prompt: Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name. Am I worshiping God or complaining to God? What attitude am I bringing my requests to God with? Answer: This is an area I need to work on. I do worship. Don't get me wrong, but I catch myself complaining at times. I have to ask God to give me the right perspective. I ask him to renew a right heart within me. To some extent, we have to be able to bring our complaints before God, but we really have to examine our hearts when we do so. We don't want to complain against God or against his anointed ones like the children of Israel did in the wilderness.
