Le Voyage Magnifique

The Alouette form of poetry was designed by Jan Turner to mimic the lyrical quality of a lark's song. Each stanza contains six lines with syllabic structures of 5, 5, 7, 5, 5, 7, and a rhyme scheme of a, a, b, c, c, b, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
