Riots broke out in the next town. âWill the world ever be at peace?â He threw aside the paper. One man's efforts against such tragedies⌠nearly hopeless. He stepped into his backyard, glowing under the setting sun. Robins sang in oak trees. Marigolds lined gravel paths. Violet clematis scrambled over the picket fence.
