| I cannot believe that I've gone so long without writing. I mean there was a bit of time when I didn't have internet in my room after the move. But I've gotten quite lax in this discipline. Finally, my son was able to make it to where I could access WdC on my computer. I've also been on and off with my daughter's quilt, and my other daughter's "chicken purse". I fell about a month ago, and just got released from home health care. I banged myself up really good, but am able to get on with things. I still haven't heard back from disability, but that's a never ending story, it seems. I'd rather be working, but it is what it is. I've found some fun in making word searches as of late. The time change has me a little out of sorts, but I'm working on over-coming it. My daughter got me some beautiful miniature rose bushes and they give me a bit of a lift. The Christmas tree is up, and the mantle is decorated. I am not listening to Christmas music as yet, but I'm sure it won't be long. I am blessed to have such wonderful kids, if not long-suffering kids...LOL. It's been a year, this 2025. I won't be sad to see it leave. Onward to new adventures, and a small milestone awaits me in June..."level 60" My oldest turned 40 this year...  And I have teenage grandchildren....What?????My dad says that getting older beats the alternative, and I have to agree with him. Thanks for letting me chew on your ears for now. Forward march!   |
