Already making plans for 2026
This year of 2025 has been aggravating to me. I've made a lot of mistakes and had a lot of shortcomings, but I've learned a lot too. I had a lot of ambition at the beginning of the year, but as the year wore on, I gave it up. It's been rough and did not turn out like I had wanted it to. That's life, I guess. However, I can see where I need improvement. I have definitely noticed some of my "issues", for lack of a better word.

I think for most of my life I have lacked vision and intention. I have been one of those people who have just let life happen. I honestly didn't know any better. It's the way my parents lived too. This is definitely a lesson I wish I had learned way earlier in life. It's time to do something about it. I will admit this year has been a year that has made me question my own abilities. I've lost confidence. My health hasn't been the greatest or worst. I can see how things might have been better if I had just taken the time to make a plan and follow it with my health, finances, and just about every area in my life.

When you would have asked me what I was going to do in the next five years, I'd look at you like you were crazy. I didn't know what I was doing tomorrow or next week little alone in five years. I just didn't understand it. Now I think I do.

I am turning 49, December 22nd of this year. Most of my working years are probably behind me. However, I am not going to give up on myself. I am going to take what I have learned and apply it to the remaining years of my life to the best of m ability. This month of December is going to be getting myself in order and getting ready for the new year and years to come with a vision in mind and a plan for my future.

I have a lot of catching up to do too. I wanted to write out these thoughts today so I can put them into action, and I also have a place to refer to my intentions. I plan to make a lot of goals and changes. This should be interesting. I intend to try to follow a healthier diet, exercise more, work on getting my two new dogs trained better, work on my Pampered Chef business which I began again with a different friend, work on crafts to sell, work on making a good routine/schedule, and work on organizing my belongings, cleaning and decluttering. Thankfully, I have a good family here to walk this personal journey with.
