| So yesterday I threw this note up on the Newsfeed. "Note: So there's a new Gnome in Town
..." To paraphrase the note, I am starting a Garden Journal and inviting others to join me. Those who join me will earn exclusive Trinkets and an Exclusive Merit badge. In my haste to make the post, I didn't think the project through as thoroughly as I should have. I didn't account for the wide variety of growing seasons or the fact that some people don't have land to grow a garden. I am reworking the rules to allow greater participation, including a wider date range for participant selection and the inclusion of container/potted gardening. You would set the date span based on your growing season, not mine. And since my vegetables are all in containers, your container/pot garden works for me as well. There is no size or number requirement, just an honest effort to enjoy gardening. I will set up a forum, with the few rules that need to apply, basically those that are in the original note, for all of those who choose to join me to post. I will keep it private for a bit so I can actually think about it, and not have to backtrack. I am looking for a beta read or three to glance through and suggest improvements. Thanks for bearing with me!!  ...I'm only the trombone player! |
