Workspace
Workspaces are a visual way to organize your ideas, lists, and tasks. You can use them on your own or with your groups. They are inspired by Kanban, a simple framework where you break work into cards, group them into lists, and move them as things progress.

Workspaces are built around simple boards where you create lists and add cards. You can move things around as your work changes, helping you stay organized and focused.

How Workspace Elements Are Organized

A workspace is made up of elements arranged in columns (or rows, depending on the view).

Lists
These act as containers for your cards. You can use them to represent stages, categories, or anything that helps you organize your work (for example: To Do, In Progress, Done).

Cards
These are the individual items inside your lists. Cards can hold tasks, notes, ideas, or reminders.

You can
drag and drop both lists and cards to rearrange them at any time.

Example Workspace  [E]
A working space for ideas, drafts, and everything in progress.

Workspace-Level Cards

Cards normally live inside lists, but you can also pull a card out onto the workspace itself.
*Bullet*  Drag a card out of a list to bring it onto the workspace
*Bullet*  This makes it a workspace-level card, which keeps it visible and easy to focus on
*Bullet*  Drag it back into a list when you’re done with it

This is helpful for keeping your most important task front and center.

Working with Cards

Each card can include details such as:
*Bullet*  Title and description
*Bullet*  Priority
*Bullet*  Due date
*Bullet*  Color and tags

You can:
*Bullet*  Click a card to open and edit it
*Bullet*  Collapse or expand it to control how much detail you see
*Bullet*  Mark it complete when finished
*Bullet*  Archive it when you no longer need it

Cards can be moved:
*Bullet*  Between lists
*Bullet*  Within a list
*Bullet*  Onto or off of the workspace

Views and Layout Options

Workspaces can be viewed in different ways depending on how you like to work:
Columns
Lists are stacked into columns on your workspace

Scroll
A classic side-by-side layout for moving cards across the screen

Table
A structured view for scanning, sorting, and organizing data in table format

Additional options include:
*Bullet*  Showing or hiding completed cards
*Bullet*  Compact mode for tighter spacing
*Bullet*  Tag filtering
*Bullet*  Search to quickly find cards
*Bullet*  Fullscreen mode for a larger workspace

Getting Started

You can get up and running quickly:
1 Create a few lists that match how you think (for example: To Do, Doing, Done)
2 Add cards for tasks, ideas, or notes
3 Click a card to add details like priority, tags, or due dates
4 Drag cards between lists as things progress
5 Pull important cards onto the workspace when you want to focus on them

Most people start simple and add more structure as they go.

Working with Groups

Workspaces can be used on your own, but they become especially powerful when used with a group.

If you give a group edit access to a workspace, all members of that group can work in it together. They can create and manage lists, add and update cards, and make changes just like the workspace owner.

All activity is tracked, so you can see what changes have been made and who made them.

At the top of the workspace, you can also see which group members are currently active. When someone is working, their activity is visible so you can follow along in real time.

Saving and Managing Your Work
*Bullet*  Changes can usually be undone using Undo
*Bullet*  Cards can be archived and restored later
*Bullet*  Deleted items move to Trash before being permanently removed
*Bullet*  Entire lists (and their contents) cannot be undone once deleted

Workspace Limits

To keep workspaces running smoothly, there are a few limits:
*Bullet*  Maximum lists per workspace: 25
*Bullet*  Maximum cards per list: 100
*Bullet*  Maximum cards per workspace: 1000

If you reach a limit, you can archive old cards or create another workspace.

Membership Limits

The number of workspaces you can create depends on your membership level:
Icon: Basic Membership (Small) Basic: 1 workspace
Icon: Upgraded Membership (Small) Upgraded: 5 workspaces
Icon: Premium Membership (Small) Premium: 10 workspaces
Icon: Premium Plus (Small) Premium Plus: 20 workspaces

If your membership changes, your existing workspaces remain available, but you may be limited in creating new ones.
