I am shopping and meet an old friend.
She is a very nice lady and attractive.
We go to self check out and I am cut off from the adjacent register.

The old friend smiles and leaves.
I ask for some assistance scanning grapes.
The young clerk says, "You probably want me to do this?"
I nod yes.
He scans the item...

I go play my lucky numbers..
The cashier says to her head cashier, "Can I close the lottery?"
I won $2!
She gives me the cash.
Am I wrong to feel slighted?
