| Today's blog... 30 Day Blogging Challenge – June 22, 2014 Today's prompt has not been posted as yet and it is a quarter to five in the afternoon so I am going ahead with a random blog. So here I sit. The day is warm and sunny. Summer in Canada has arrived. Yesterday one of the blog prompts asked about what people do to celebrate the Summer Solstice. Personally I don't do anything really, but my husband and I went downtown to Waterloo today and discovered there had been a Summer Light Festival last night - so I guess something does go on to celebrate the season here in Waterloo Region. Another blog prompt for the week discussed words and phrases we use and the variations of sayings. The conversation that induced was quite interesting - as was the website Charlie ~   gave - a quiz of sorts. If I take time to reflect on my own life. I would say my writing week has been productive, though I would have liked to get more done on my NaNoWriMo novel. Last night I was able to get up to 30,000 words using writing sprints. That still puts me 5,000 words behind. I still expect to get to the 50,000 words by 11:59 pm next Monday night. Still that is 20,000 words. But today I am feeling rather drab. |
