A blog about my daily life. Just random and sometimes weird. :)

Work and more work :)
Hello everyone,

I know I haven't had as much if an online presence. Josie keeps me happily busy, when I'm not working my butt off at work that is. I worked 60 hours this week to help out my boss, definitely not doing that again, I feel so drained this week and not even physically really, just mentally, but I don't regret helping out. I work for a senior care company coordinating the schedule for caregivers to meet with clients and my job requires a lot of strategy moving things around to make the impossible happen. I do love what I do, that it helps people with their daily lives. I always knew I wanted to work for a company that helps people. It started with my mom whom was diagnosed with MS. She has a lot of pain and trouble doing things on her own and helping her made me think of all of the other people out there that may need the help, some not as fortunate having a family member to help with these things.

I remember my interview to be a caregiver when I got started 5 years ago, I had already helped my mom for so long and I was confident in what I could do. I started taking nursing classes at the community college for a transfer program as well and was doing exceptional. I can't believe how much things have evolved. I have been promoted since then, got married and now my baby girl is almost one year old. I'm proud of what I've achieved, but there's still so much I want and plan to do. And my dear husband really makes me feel like I can do anything! :)

Thanks for stopping by,
Angie
