Did a cat or dog ever do something you blamed someone else for it?

My husband has an electric shop and repairs alternators and has phone numbers written down on pieces of paper. Our cat Tigger took off with it and I chased her down to get it back. Our kitty Bela found a cranberry tab I dropped and I found it under the bathroom door. My cat Bella knocks down my stuffed Chewbecca, knocks the phone down and it falls under the end table. She will leave her milk rings and stuffed toy mice on the bed. She rearranges my stuffed animals and bites on my phone charger. My other cat Tigger, knocked my rings and bracelet off the dining room table when I left them there. She chewed the Christmas lights in half years ago. Luckily, they were unplugged. She knocked my husband's comb off the bathroom counter and Bella knocks my combs off the bathroom counter.

When my husband can't find something, I will ask him, did you ask the cat if she had it or was it the fairy elf that sneaks inside the house and takes things? You never know!
