Plants
Every morning and night, my feet carry me downstairs to turn on and off my plant lights. I enjoy the sight of living greenery, about eleven big leafy filled pots waiting for warm weather to live outside.
This has been going on for years. I am grateful for my neighbor, Pat Roberts, who has shared countless advice, plant starts, and comradre to make gardening the unequaled enjoyment it has become.
Rain water caught and stored blesses roots about every third day. Some years I devote time to seedlings, tasty sprouts and colorful flowers. This year has been so far much more subdued. Soon it will be time to put plans in place to welcome crocus and other spring flowers nodding their heads back at me in welcome.
Gratitude is taking time to breathe in life's simple pleasures.
