We read a book and like Jane Austen. She left us 200 years ago. I love Jane Austen and enjoy all her books. The Bronte Sisters. Same thing. Shakespeare. He is speaking to us from 400 years ago. Amazing. It is like a voyage through time. Jules Verne. Have you ever wondered what their voices sounded like? It would be nice to know. We go back in time by reading books from old authors. Reading historical fiction. The characters aren't real but you love how the authors wrote about them. It is like, you are there!
An author leaves a legacy behind in his books. I would love to do the same thing. A trip to the past? Read an old book from 200 or 300 years ago. Works for me!
