For me, Jane Austen comes to mind and The Bronte Sisters. I would love for Jane to tell me about what inspired her to write Pride and Prejudice and her other novels. I could learn a lot from her and The Brontes. Lord Bryon, Emily Dickinson, Elizabeth Barrett, Browning, Edgar Allan Poe. These authors could teach us a lot. Good books can take us places. Learning about Regency times from Jane Austen would be priceless. Shakespeare from Medieval Times. He would be interesting as well. Authors from years ago. A trip back into the past. I am so there. It would be nice to talk with authors of the past. They could teach us how to write and be better authors.
