Thank God the political ads have stopped, at least for the next few months. I almost welcome the avalanche of ambulance chasing attorney ads and of course all of the Medicare related baloney.

It is unconscionable and immoral the amount of money American politicians spend to buy their particular offices.
I remember a business trip to Peru a few years ago. I was having dinner with a couple of my Peruvian Associates and one of them asked the other,”what would you rather be, President of Peru or the head of Customs? And the gentleman said,” That’s a silly question, of course I would rather be in charge of customs I would make a lot more money.

Most of the people living in third world countries know they are getting screwed. It is just a fact of life.
