Starting New

Starting new to live a year,
this slate is fully clean.
The fog has lifted, now it's clear.
What Hope is to be seen!

Starting new upon this day
with leaves of dates to go.
Let's speak the Truth in all we say,
with so much more to know.

Starting new with ev'ry breath,
we'll build as God directs,
and follow all the words He saith.
His Light we can reflect.
