contains some of my present and past poetry. |
| Entwined It was a sunny day in the month of May. My heart was afire with joy and desire. Here’s someone not really known. Even so there’s no apprehension. He walks in, gait sure eyes lit with joy pure. Magnificent moments of perfect predicament. My maiden heart broke into a new song soaked in the honey of love lasting forever and now. Though surrounded we were insulated, linked in soul and spirit hearts merged in merit. Rings exchanged felt more assured promised to one another pledged to each other. Strangers no more familiar to the core, like the sea, the stars, the sky our destinies forever entwined. Lines: 28 Written for “Hearts on Fire” poetry contest hosted by Beacon-Light In College |
