July 31 Where is Home?

During my 67 years
Around the sun

I have had many homes.
All over the world

Traveled to over 55 countries.
And all 50 states

Lived in

Berkeley, DC
Stockton,
Korea
Seattle
Suburban Virginia
Bangkok
Mumbai
Barbados
Madrid
DC Capitol Hill
Medford, Oregon

I grew up in Berkeley.
Considerate it to be.
My spiritual homeland

Hope someday.
To return home
Like some salmon
Returning home to die

But in the meantime
I will continue to live.
Part of the year
In Korea

Which has become?
My second homeland

In the end
Home is wherever.
I happen to be.
As long as I have ‘
The love of my life
By my side

I am home.
