| faith In the face of such misery how can one have faith? cruelty is common, even casual unthinking acts by the selfish greed is rife, stupidity is rife bigotry, racism, sexism the list of human deficits seems endless and ceaseless How can one have faith when one cannot trust the priests one cannot trust the government except to make things worse? The kind don't make a fuss the helpful don't get the front pages the decent aren't talked about How can one have faith? How can one not? |
