On the Day of Resurrection

By day the dark collage of colored glass,
looks hopeless on a world illuminated by the sun,
those walking past see only darkness in the panes,
that shown so bright and beautiful at night.

Inspiration: I was walking past a church and noticed that the stained glass windows were dark, because the interior of the church was not illuminated.
