Restored

Restored

When faced with unexpected adversities,
ambushed and haunted by cold hostilities,
you took my hand into yours my Lord
guiding me through the bewildering lanes
of life without letting me lose sense of balance.

You consoled me so My Merciful God,
my heartbeat steadied, equilibrium restored,
my mind is cleared of unnecessary baggage.

As in my hours of loneliness, when I cannot
distinguish between friends and foes, you showed
the way out of the mire of malice and greed.

I bow to thee in gratitude, God above!
for spreading solace through my soul and spirit.
