Juxtaposition

A juxtaposition inviting a comparison
of similarity of form and separation of purpose
of natural and synthetic interlaced forms
one to exclude, divide and define a boundary
the other to snare, entrap, excluding escape
spider spun silk, seeming so delicate
yet powerful for it's purpose
providing a larder, providing a lunch
Man made metal stretched and shaped
steely determination smothered in soft plastic
fencing for the everyday enclosure
of spaces now clearly delineated
of what is mine and not yours
one attached to the other
