My Favourite Outdoor Chair

On the stoop it sits, holding court
A plastic Muskoka style chair
With a funky cushion for my butt.
I love to sit within its embrace
Watching the world lumber by
Or catching words that drop from the sky.
This place I sit when the weather is nice
It is the perfect respite when I need to write.
