Week Two entry as the Day Unfolds

As the day unfolds
I watch the news.

Drinking a snarling cup
Of righteous coffee

Thinking about the news
Sometimes makes me
Feel the blues.

Thinking about my life
Making my list
of things to do

Writing down my
journal thoughts.

Too many things to do
So many things left
On my bucket list.

As the day unfolds
I shift my focus,

From the news
And my endless
to do list.

And begin
at the end
Of the day,

to focus on what really matters
I met and married
the lady of my dreams.

and as long
as we have each other
everything will be fine.

So I relax and just be
With the love of my life
By my side.
