Pennywise

A dancing clown can cause a fright
When he appears in the folds of night
Face of white with blood red lines
That scratch his eyes, his only signs
That he is a scary sight.

It makes his way within the dreams of night
Brings the burden of fear to light
Dragged up, unburied from the mines
A dancing clown.

Guard your children with all your might
Keep them safe and out of sight
No one's safe, even dressed to the nines
It comes for you from the sidelines
Beware and hold your children tight
From the sight of a dancing clown.

Day 11: Pennywise -
A Rondeau is a French form, 15 lines long, consisting of three stanzas: a quintet, a quatrain, and a sestet with a rhyme scheme as follows: aabba aabR aabbaR. Lines 9 and 15 are short - a refrain (R) consisting of a phrase taken from line one. The other lines are longer (but all of the same metrical length).
