Counting Our Blessings

Prompt: Joy asked how we can count our blessings and still be thankful.

I had my house burn down years ago. My husband, cat and I got out. That was a blessing. I almost died through bowel obstruction surgery but I did survive. This is another blessing. I thank God everyday for this.

I have arthritis. I get through it. I don't have tge C word. That is a blessing.

I still have my mother. I have my husband and cat. My son lives in Oregon. I have seen him three times this year. Another blessing.

We have money for all we need and are able to have extras. I don't want for anything. That is a blessing.

I wish my health was perfect. I have God to pray to. I drive and go places. I got through knee replacement. I live each day as it comes. I am thankful for my blessings.
